Yeah I think all of his stuff comes from his own production company and then gets distributed by one fo the big studios.
That still won't help with that Blended bomb. It cost $40 million to make and has only made $40 million despite being out for almost a month. And Sandler's movies don't really make any money internationally either.

Stars dont really open movies, franchises do

Even the female stars are attached to franchsises based on YA books with built in franchises.

Its all about sequels, comic book adaptations, remakes, prequels, YA book adaptations

Maybe Comedians like Rogen and them are an exception but with them it feels they are successful in ensembles.

Flop after flop for movies she headlines, and now they left her out the trailer for Sin City 2 out of fear that her mug will make people say screw this movie...First Movie came out a decade ago, and that silly ogre Rosorryo has been brown nosing and racist cac banging to get ahead in the industry that whole time. And yet all she's done is flop and embarrass herself worse and worse, and couldn't even get a 2 second clip in the trailer

heh, Sandler. Never was into his flicks but I did like the Longest Yard remake. Couldn't understand his appeal though.
