I can't really choose, I mean #8 was flashier and after Shaq forced to be more 'selfish' but like mentioned #24 is/was more calculated and probably a better leader...

I wonder if Lakers are gonna retire both though...

Of course they're retiring both. And it should be in two different ceremonies. Bean deserves it.

8 was more athletic, flashier, had a dominant 01 run, and a dominant 03 and 06 regular season. Could argue 06 was his peak as a player
24 was smarter, a better leader, more skilled, had 3 dominant playoff runs and was great in the regular season. Could argue 08 was his peak as a player
