everything in moderation....of course you are gonna die if all you eat is double Whopper meals fro 15+ years...

most bacteria dies with proper food preparation and with proper diet and physical activity there is almost nothing you CAN'T eat every once in a while.

:manny: all these heath scares, and GMO's and all this shyt...its all a ploy to get you off one product and on to a new one. Eat what the fukk you want just as long as you are balancing the junk with the good grains, good greens, proper hydration and fukkING EXERCISE you. will. be. ok.

how can you say everything in moderation when there are toxins in everything that goes into our bodies? thats not moderation. what do you think is the ACCUMULATIVE effect of being exposed to all the toxins in food, toxins in water, and toxins in the air. i always ask people this and never get a straight answer.

and now you have these harmful EM waves from electronics (cpus, cell phones, tvs, etc) that are attacking us on an energetic level, further disrupting how our cells operate.

the body is constantly under attack from all angles, absorbing toxins on every level on a constant basis-MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY, EVERYDAY OF OUR LIVES. do yall realize how that overworks the immune system and depresses it? no wonder we are sick as ever.

i do partly agree with the bold though. but most people dont even do those basic activities.

people dont put anything pure in their bodies then wonder why they all fukked up

brehs, this whole list is some bullshyt, here's a post by a drug chemist debunking this Eight Toxic Foods: A Little Chemical Education. In the Pipeline:

that "things i won't work with" series on his site is funny af too :whoo:

my question still stands tho.

this particular list aside, there's no debating the number of foreign chemicals and toxins being put into our food, water, and air.

and my whole point is that how can people be comfortable with this when we have no idea what the long term implications of constantly ingesting these toxins (albeit in minute amounts) will have on us, especially when we ingest them on a daily basis several times a day.

the best people come up with is, "fukk it, you gotta go sometime."

ol lowered expectations ass nikkaz

Well the argument is that there are no real pure products to begin with unless you are a farmer or slaughter/milk your own animals. Even then you have to be careful of what you feed THEM. But the toxins that we take in from the air and water does manifest in things like asthma ect. But again many of these things can be offset with proper exercise and moderation.

I live in Michigan so i have an advantage of having some of the safest and amazing tap water in the country (and really in the world). So that's not to much of an issue here the air isn't as saturated with smog as some other cities but i do have asthma but that has been going away with the fact i swim often and my skateboard habit :russ: as far as diet goes sometimes your body should just have a break...i make sure at LEAST one day a week i don't eat meat, i (recently) just started drinking LOADS of water and chilled a bit on the coffee (being a Barista doesnt make that easy).

Nothing is 100% safe anymore, but the fact that we can monitor our own bodies better than ever should help. And we keep negating the fact that the human body is one of the most adaptable on the planet, sure these things are bad but i think that we will be ok if we just be careful.

Fact of the matter is, some of these chemicals exist in the foods in such trace amounts that the ONLY way it can have an effect is if you glutton on them...which most Americans do which goes back to my argument of moderation.

Still it's unfortunate that's our attitude now. Those chemicals shouldn't b there at all since only the corporation's bottom line benefits from them. Saying 'well u just shouldn't eat too much of that' is making excuses for them. Especially since most people don't even know they're injesting poison.

I can agree, but until the lobby ends and our government and its people DEMAND to hold corporations responsible we have to self-govern. :manny:

what do you think is the CUMULATIVE effect of all these different toxins building up in our bodies in all these different ways? could this be contributing to the health crises we are experiencing in the united states?

in fact, what would it take for you to take time from your personal life to participate in acts of social activism i.e. calls visits to your city councilman, community meetings, etc. to try and change some of this shyt?

my n1gga @LeyeT there's interesting piece on national geographic tonight, you might like:
From the sorcerer's stone to the elixir of life, the quest for eternal youth has intrigued humanity since ancient times. Fueled by people's desire to keep feeling and looking youthful, the modern-day search continues. But for some, that drive for energy and immortality results in extreme methods that many might call Taboo.

i feel where youre coming from, but there are a lot of factors at play in life expectancy.

to me it doesnt seem like a good idea to put things that arent good for the human body, into food.

call me crazy
link the studies from pubmed :cheff:
