When one white Tourist is killed in an African country they send in the military. Meanwhile Columbia, Mexico, Dominican knocking off foreigners with impunity.

They really did a number on people's perception of the world. If you asked the average tourist they would still be more hesitant to visit an African country for safety. But you are far more likely to die in the places i named yet they don't have bad publicity.

Can you post some examples of "the military" (US military?) being sent to African countries after random American tourists were killed? Because I'm looking at news reports of Americans killed in South Africa and other countries with no such military response. Sounds like nonsense...

Nor are South American nations knocking off Americans with "impunity" as if this is a regular occurrence. American tourists have privileges and protections that no one else has. This often leads to cavalier, stupid behavior that puts people in danger. I've traveled overseas with coworkers and friends who have done idiotic shyt that could have gotten them killed or robbed. Including walking around flaunting items of wealth, getting into fights, traveling late at night to see women in non-tourist areas of cities, etc. It's pretty easy to go overseas and come back alive, which is why 99%+ of people who travel don't get killed.
