I'm shocked they ever put Monty Brown in extended matches...dude's heat segment is kinda dull, he doesn't really seem to know how to fill time that well, and every minute he spends on offense exposes more and more how few ideas he has to make the match interesting. Should've just put him in high impact sub-10 minute matches (which would accentuate his explosiveness and charisma well).
Dude actually could've been something with refinement and development, but TNA was really the absolute worst place to be as a young wrestler needing to develop a character (he's way too cartoonish and exaggerated) and a work style.
Christian wasn't all the way there as a babyface worker at this point either (still pretty good though).
Also: Bubba/Bully Ray is a ridiculously annoying human being, but holy shyt he can cut a promo. I gave not one single shyt about this tables match until that promo. So underrated in that respect.

He had a great run and accomplished a lot so I guess he felt ready to move on.
