They've talked a lot about having a realistic, sports presentation but we've seen very little indication that they know how to pull that off from the shows they've run and the talent they're signing.

Closest has been those Road To... videos I guess.

I feel like the first couple of months of the TV are gonna be a mess with them figuring out the correct tone...which could be a problem because they need to come out the gates strong and make a good impression. I'm not sure they can afford to work things out while trying to make a splash on TNT.

Seems you've got Cody and maybe Khan pulling one way and the Bucks and Omega going the other. There's room for both but the wacky indie goodball shyt should be sparingly used. Case in point is Orange Cassidy....nothing wrong with him showing up every month or two and doing his lil act, but if he's on TV every week it could be a real turnoff for potential viewers.

You're always going to get some of the gimmick because that's what makes him what he is as a character, generally you get the gimmick at the start of the matches & then he gets serious as the match goes unless it's a straight comedy match.

I actually watched this whole match I liked it and he can wrestle however I still don’t know how exactly his gimmick fits in a serious sports aesthetic similar concerns with the librarian

The more I see of his promos, the less I'm sure of Omega as top babyface. He really does come off like a prick in these sit-downs.

Top heel, sure. As long as he isn't doing the goofier aspects of the Cleaner gimmick. But I'm not really seeing top babyface right now.
