Match was fine. Probably Cody's worst singles match in AEW, which makes sense given that the other two were against Dustin Rhodes and Darby Allin. Spears really isn't in either of those two's league (yes, I mean that about Allin).

It'll be interesting to see how they play this MJF angle. I was expecting the turn, and the entire match played out like there would be a turn (almost every time MJF got involved, it hurt Cody), but it looks like they're going to let this play out over the course of weekly TV.
