Whoever they hired as the director & had book it between All In & DON can't film or put together a battle royal to save their lives, missing spots all over the place & way too much stuff happening all at the same time.
Also Nyla being 0-2 before it & facing the winner of the random ass Riho (2-2 before tonight) vs Shida (1-0) match to determine the first champion makes no sense. Like whu is Riho bypassing the battle royal to get a 1 vs 1 match but someone like Allie who was 2-0 forced into the battle royal?

This may not be popular opinion around here, but AEW has some bright spots, however they have a very long way to go if they plan on attracting a nationwide audience.
The diehard marks who fly all over the place to attend the shows will always be there, but most of the public would never tune in to TNT to watch their current product
They really should had just done a tournament and be done with it. Like for a company that's taking from NJPW and some ROH, they sure are missing the point of how to properly book a match and make it exciting.
Pac needs to be the first AEW Champion, nobody else on the roster looks like they've seen the inside of a weight room.
they probably wasn't tryna have a tag title tourney and a women's title tourney going on concurrently which i don't blame em for
shoulda just saved the battle royal crowning the champion for TNT
