A small piece from the Crawford interview with Andre Ward that I found interesting was Bud mentioning that Turki is not only putting up money to make big fights, but he's also helping to breathe life into the promotional aspect.

Seriously, why did it take Turki to start pumping out these great commercials for these fights?











The sport needs these! Every star needs one.

Say what you will about returns, but I think it's clear that boxing promotion needs new ideas. Multi city press tours with predictable banter, formulaic all access 24/7 shows, and a fight poster are archaic.

The fight is near, all this talk about how good Madrimov is I wanna see it. To be a champion with only 10 fights under his belt he better be damn good. He better give Crawford problems or at least knock him down.
