While i don't think he is a heel. I think it's stupid to confuse fans and imply he could be one. He's a tweener though. He fukkin up everybody right after the HIAC tag match. Possible cash in as well.

Did you watch the show earlier? Braun handed the case to Corbin and said he's officially cashing it in at H.I.A.C.
I guess the heel turn foreshadowing was there at the beginning "I'm not cashing in tonight". What face backs down from a direct challenge...well..except Roman last week when the Shield saved him.
