fine...but Drew and Bobby should be feuding with the upstart guys to DEVELOP them. Drew and Bobby shouldn't be feuding over that title. I'll say what i said before, yall can't complain that WWE doesn't develop anyone, then argue they shouldn't develop anyone. Can't be on both sides of that argument. Bobby Roode should have been feuding with a guy like Gargano, since he's more of an upstart babyface guy. Drew McIntyre should have been feuding with a heel like Velveteen. Helping develop those younger guys.

Edit: and there's a difference between guys that are like these lifer generic indy guys and someone like Rusev or Jinder. We all understand them pulling from the indies, but you get a guy like Roderick Strong who's just a lifer indy guy that ultimately has added nothing to NXT because we all know he's not there for shyt. The time they spend on him could have been used on someone they need to develop. And who isn't an indy guy? Braun, Alexa, Carmella, Big E, Baron, Hardy's, USOS, etc...they do have people that weren't indy people, and alot of people aren't lifer indy people.

None of the non indy guys are ready to be at the top of a card, carrying a program. Developing isn't throwing a heavyweight title on you. That's honestly a quick way to expose someone who isn't ready, and is literally begging fans to reject them. Look at Bo Dallas, he never recovered.


it's called "developing" for a reason. Let them LEARN the ropes.. learn what they're actually doing first, before throwing them into the ocean... The homegrown green as gooseshyt guys aren't ready to be on TV, let alone the top of a card.. which is why they're house show fodder for the moment. Guys like Patrick Clark aren't top feud ready, he's literally still learning to perform and they're protecting him by keeping his TV matches short and to the point. Actual development. Throwing him out there for a 20 minute PPV match with Drew would expose him.. shyt would be sabotage..

and names are needed dude... NXT isn't selling out Barclays with Riddikk Moss and Kona Reeves in the main event. Ya'll gotta stop complaining for the sake of complaining and use ya fukkin heads..


While the Lars Sullivans of the world are in the performance center learning how to properly bump, you still have to put out a product that's gonna sell tickets away from Full Sail, and bring in viewers. Which is why established guys with actual futures on the main roster are main eventing shows, ala Bobby Roode and Drew Mcintyre..


and I don't know why you mentioned Gargano. He's been grinding for years on the indy circuit lol, he's not some random nikka they found working out in some gym...he's literally one of the established guys you're complaining about.

Really good show from top to bottom. It's kinda crazy how Roode and Galloway are main eventing here when they were just headling IMPACT episodes a year and a half ago and this stage seemed so far away.

Neville was either really in character or wanted to be anywhere but there.

The low key played Percy and Nigel out with all the guest commentators.

He was most definitely in character

Potential is there, he has a chant, good worker, can bump and sell his arse off and gets good babyface sympathy. Would have to see how the non smark crowds react to him.

He is the best pure face on NXT, IMO.

Its because NXT doesn't give a fukk about developing new wrestlers; its WWE wanting to crush the smaller promotions like ROH, GWF and whatever other indy isn't lowkey on the payroll like Evolve is.

Are the young guys selling tickets when NXT goes on tour? I'm not paying to see velveteen shyt. Nxt runs 2 tours. The local for the super young guys and the real tour. NXT at the top hasn't been about pure development for a long time and it's never going to be. There isn't enough TV time to flush out all the characters. That's exactly why these guys who don't need to be in NXT don't come straight to the main roster. NXT is a showcase for those guys.

I could argue who is and isn't an Indy product so day. The Hardy's are an Indy product. Gargano was in the Indys for 10 years.

I hate Strong but he is there because he sells tickets and he is a good worker. Just because you see programs on TV doesn't mean these guys aren't working with each other. The TV is taped far in advance. Strong is like Philly giving JJ Reddikk 23 million. Can't have a building full of kids.

Wrestling will never be as big as it was again. The world is turning into one big niche market.

Y'all underestimate the indy nerd level of the people at these NXT shows. Have you been to a NXT show that wasn't a takeover with a major show in the same area? NXT on the road might as well be the same fan base as ROH.
