the thing is even if you are making alot as a man and you lose your job more than likely your chick will leave you soon, women are accustomed to a certain life and lifestyle, if you datin them you guys go out to movies, restaurants etc., then suddenly you lose your job she is not going to stick around to eat ramon noodles and watch netflix or take the bus with you

I mean even think about it this way:
-If you a dude who isn't living on his own, when will you have privacy if you have a girlfriend?

-If you don't have a job, you won't be able to take her to dinner or anything and if she's paying for all the dates she's going to resent you because she'll feel like she's your caretaker.

I mean if you at least have your own place you can just say "ay girl, we don't need to go out, its the time we spend together that counts. Come on over so we can watch a bootleg DVD and eat some dollar store popcorn" or some shyt. But if you're broke and living with your parents/3 other dudes you won't be able to do that shyt.

Fact of the matter is, even when a woman has enough money to pay for all the dates, has a place and can invite you over, and all that shyt, she's not going to respect you. A lot of women bullshyt about that because they don't want to seem shallow but its just the truth. Women instinctually want a man to be a provider. Its biology.

This is why a lot of the time they judge a man based off of how similar he is to her father, who himself was the breadwinner of the family. Women biologically are drawn to men that they think will be able to serve as good role models for their possible children so the man has to be physically fit, intelligent, and hard working. Its been like that throughout history and its never going to change. The woman as the provider of a grown ass man is an unfamiliar look.

I totally agree with people though who have such high demands for men though when they themselves aren't planning to step their game up. If you're 34 years old with 3 kids by three different men you're out of your fukking mind if you think you gonna get yourself a neurosurgeon or civil engineer as a husband--who won't cheat on you whenever he gets the chance

You're right. But you have no issue branding all single mothers with the same scarlet iron yet you want unemployed men to be cut some slack depending upon circumstances.

And it's funny because if you heard that a single mother fathered a child by an unemployed man, the first thing you'd say is that, "Well, she should have selected a better man," and would not have given a thought as to why the guy was unemployed.
