He's been a big name in scouting circles for a few years now
I heard dog compared to one of these Agiants early 2020, and I thought he was gonna be one of those meme overseas dudes that never got play. I think he was matching up with Gobert in practice or sum

They're playing Serbia tomorrow in the semi finals and then the winner of Canada vs USA in the finals (if they beat Serbia obviously)

Serbia has one of the best young centers in the world , Nikola Jovic (not a typo lol) and the US has Chet and Canada has a 7'4 kid that's dominating and a 5star kid going to Alabama as his back up. So hes going against really good comp.

The games are on YouTube on fibas channel
Working from home tomorrow but gonna see if I can tune in. Good looking out.

I like him gives me Mo Bamba’s projection vibes, I think this cat jus relies on finesse a lil more

hope he continues to work on his strength and weight, all he has to do is put some weight on then cut, Improvement in his speed and agility could do wonders

look forward to seeing how he develops

Talented youngsters always get crowned as potential #1 pick 2 years before the draft... until the year of the draft. Then they get slotted where they really belong most of the time.

Honestly i love this. I always hated the american basketball coaches obsession with making anyone who's above 6'9 play in the post. I feel like Euros have always let players develop their skillsets and let them play where they may based on their skills. See Sabonis, Kukoc, Dirk and Schrempf as examples. American coaches finally came around to letting tall frail kids develop their other skills around early 2000s. You know if Kevin Durant played in the 80 some coach would have been trying hard to make him a power forward and try to force him to bulk up and play in the post. Now you see all these "stretch 4s" as the american game evolved and allowed big men to evolve
Didn’t all those players you listed play in the post.

nba has had jumpshooting big men since the 80’s.
