All of my friends are college educated, professional and not a single one of us have out of wedlock children.

Most of the college educated women I know are single and complaining are big boned to put it nicely. Its rare to see an in shape educated pretty black woman and they know it

but why do we only bring up white people when we discuss dogs kissing people in the face? Or things like that? (im not trying to compare just trying to make a point) Because its what we see more often than not.

I mean, I've seen (and railed against) shows like teen mom (which didn't have many if any, blacks on it) but its rampant in our communities, then couple that with the single mother/no father in the home problem and we are where we are today...you see where I'm coming from?

I'm from DC, I ride metro every day...I see a LOT of white women married or ring on their finger, but when I go to Anacostia/Congress Heights, etc all i see is girls 13, 14 with strollers...Single moms with 3+ kids NO RINGS on fingers, and it breaks my heart...I know not all of the white women are married or hell, even good people, but its like a unicorn in my "hood" I hate that. We CAN do better for ourselves, we just gotta stop making excuses for ourselves or defending bullcrap.

I really care about my community/people, I couldn't give a damn bout any other culture, race, whatever. But when people bring up oow births with black people, it's not a joke, it's like they're saying this is only something black people do or it's only a problem when black people do it.

I agree that more people should get married before having children but I don't think that's going happen anytime soon. Just look at the responses in this thread, everything is blamed on women. These are the same guys that say that men should only look at women as women they are going to fukk or women they have fukked, say that men should avoid marriage, say that if women don't have sex with them within a certain time frame then they're gonna play her. They tell men that they shouldn't be looking for a relationship, they should only be trying to fukk women. Yet women are told to "do better", "we don't have a deadbeat problem". Then the same guys turn around and say that men are leaders and women should follow them. So we should follow men that are taught to fukk us over? You guys CONSTANTLY go hard on women but I rarely see you guys go hard on men, yet they're supposed to be leaders.

You all need to quit acting like this is 72% of black women because it is not.
In fact the statistic would probably better read 72% of black men have out of wedlock children, because thecoli loves to talk about how black men are #HTH and #GetMarriedBrehs, and other races of women loooove black men, so one can put 2+2 together.
