Buy a dog and die alone.

Dying alone is no longer the serve it used to be. Older women are shown to have rich communities of friends and family. They also tend to have less health problems and report being happier than older married women. In the end though, all of us die alone so this never made sense anyway.

having kids doesn't prevent someone from dying alone
plenty of people have kids who don't visit them/talk to them/have nothing in common with them past a certain age
people have kids once they start looking like someone's mom or dad combined with societal/family/friend pressure, existential crisis, looking for a reason to live/finding purpose, etc. mostly selfish reasons
many people get bitter once they have kids and realize they are miserable or their kids are pieces of shyt and they wish they never had them
Imagine if your child is a sociopath or psychopath?
a lot of older people die alone and have plenty of kids

That and add to the fact that when women get sick with cancer and other terminal illnesses, they're more likely to be dumped by their husbands, the threat of dying alone doesn't hold much weight any more.

As a dad of two young children, they aren't wrong about it being stressful and expensive.

There's nothing wrong with not having children. The worst thing you could do is have them and not want them.

I wouldn't trade my boys in for the world but know that that shyt is all in brehs :wow:

Tbh I don't blame women

Spends thousands a month on daycare and be with a guy that can up and leave you at any point and make you a "single mom"
Vs
Travel take vacations , have casual sex and keep your money.

Capitalism has made it to a point where it's not worth it for women to raise a child unless the guy is extremely wealthy.
Problem is most women want husbands and a family. It’s biological.
