It's double standards depending on who's who, Canelo was used as an example as well
Canelo is one of the most hated fighters on here. Nobody took it easy on him after he lost :mjlol: .......now the Spence fanboys gotta take them jokes too. That's how this works. It's been that way since the beginning of time.

As far as the polling of that canelo vs bivol fight. Pretty sure it's up to the thread starter to make voting public. You just gotta check the option when you create the thread. Don't think it was some grand conspiracy.

These Spence dikk riders disparaged buds name and acted like he ducked this fight when they knew it wasn't true. Y'all did everything you could t throw dirt on his name. Yall said bud was gonna get steam rolled.

Now you want everybody to relax after your fighter took an ass beating for the ages. fukk all that.
Right no one put a gun to anyone's head and forced them to engage in that debate. Plenty of people simply minded their business or stayed neutral.
When I first came here I thought I was in a bizarro world the way dudes were acting like Crawford was overrated compared to the PBC fighters. If you are that wrong about a generational talent like Crawford then yes....i got to question your boxing acumen. Either you can't tell the difference in clear levels or you let emotional attachment to agendas force you into saying stupid shyt you don't actually believe. Either or I can't take you serious

Maybe because I'm old but some of yall really believed Spence was the one?...like really? :heh:

This thread is golden lol

the crazy thing is...I think when Spence was like 13-0, I said here on the Coli he was the next great SUCCESSOR to Floyd at WW and that eventually, him and Bud were going to be the best two fighters in the world. I said later once Bud he would be the ONLY man that could beat Spence.

oh yeah....and....

I touched on this before but want to bring it back up because I was really annoyed over the years by people saying because Gamboa hurt Bud he couldnt beat Spence. as I said, Gamboa was an Olympian with super fast hands. plus he had pop. at lower weights Crawford was more succeptible to be hit because of the speed. compare Gamboa hand speed to Spence. you dudes cant be serious.

Cory Spinks was a very quick and elusive fighter. he went from 147 to 160 to challenge Jermain Taylor (who I never thought much of) and people said he was a killer. Spinks didnt get touched that fight and I thought he won. He comes back to 147 and Zab stops him. Because Zab hits harder than Taylor? no. because he is more adept at fighting smaller guys and he was faster than Spinks even.

remember the success Chris Byrd had at heavyweight? he even has a victory over Vitali and went the distance with Wladimir the very next fight. why they didnt blast this light heavyweight out of there? then he comes back to light heavy thinking they are not strong enough for him and gets blasted out by Shaun George...because the speed was way too much for him. his advantage over heavies was always his speed and elusiveness.

Miguel cotto is another guy who showed a much better chin after moving up. He stayed getting rocked at 140. One of the reasons everyone thought he was a hypejob.

This is a fukking excellent and underrated post:

I listened to Virgil Hunter yesterday and he said because Crawford fought at lower weights and moved up, fighting guys with speed/quickness was an underrated advantage Crawford had over Spence. Spence probably looked like he was moving in slow motion in Crawford's eyes

Starts at the 1 minute 47 sec mark

I listened to that interview 4 times yesterday. I was about to post it today and you beat me to it. Virgil Hunter knows what he is talking about.

if you go back, just days before the fight, fools were in here saying "yeah but Bud did get hurt by Gamboa" seriously? you talking about a 135lb Bud from damn near 10 years ago against an undefeated fighter with Olympic pedigree and ELITE hand speed who was TRYING to win? shows how much you know about boxing right there as if that was reasoning for Spence beating, much less knocking out Crawford.

"well, Bud pulled Gamboa up....." no he didnt, Gamboa had won the WBA interim 135 title the fight before. Gamboa invaded Bud territory. now Mikey did jump 2 weight classes immediately to face Spence. Crawford didnt fukk around with Gamboa, yet Spence "toyed" with Mikey if you let them tell it. fukk that, you supposed to get Mikey short ass outta there. Mikey at a point wasnt trying. Gamboa was.

Yall bud fans in here unhinged :picard: making up arguments spence himself aint even use, he got his ass whipped that's that. This nothing like wilder/fury, just a group of rabid fanboys going back and forth. Fighters moved forward

7. Acceptance & Hope

Acceptance and hope is the last stage in the grieving process. It comes with a sense of optimism from a realistic life assessment with a deep understanding of your loss’s impact. You permit yourself to plan for a future, knowing you will not forget what has happened. You have learned ways to care for yourself and cope and how to set new self-expectations as you begin to move ahead. There is still pain and sadness attached to your loss.

you made it to the 7th stage, nice :ehh:
