There's nothing hyperbolic about that at all. You got boxing legends in disbelief at what they saw. Athletes from all sports in shock. Saying it was the greatest performance they ever seen. That's not an exaggeration.

What bud did on Saturday was one of the greatest athletic performances of all time. Definitely the greatest boxing performance I've ever seen with my own eyes. Bud did Errol Spence worse than Floyd did Arturo gatti. Let that sink in. That bud could beat any welterweight that ever lived. Now would he?....We'll never know. But he most definitely could.

what bud did was closer to floyd/corrales imo.

gatti didn't belong in the ring with floyd. and there was never a single second of the fight where he was able to prove otherwise.

The version of Spence we saw on Saturday loses to a lot of fighters, not just Crawford. He was slow and lacked pop.

For a man that's never been cut from a punch or knocked down, safe to say he was in state he's never been before.
This. And it was written all on his face. He didn’t look like a confident fighter, confidence is a critical ingredient. He literally looked awashed with shame from the point of the second knockdown and he has yet to show he has recovered yet in the ring, which will be his task in his next fight but I’m really not sure that will be easy based on what we saw. He might be done

Yea I'm just talking from the pure savageness of the beating. Errol took a gatti level beating on Saturday. It was brutal.

But as far as the matchup. For sure I think coralles is a better comparison. People thought coralles was gonna be too big and strong. I believe he was even the betting favorite. And Floyd just completely exposed him. The speed and skill difference was just too much.

That's what I'm saying. That level of precision and accuracy is unheard of at this stage. This was supposed to one of the most epic showdowns in boxing history. And bud turned it into one of the most epic beat downs in boxing history. He didn't do that to a bum. He did that to a top 5 p4p GREAT fighter. Really sit back and think about that.

Jabs EARLY in the fight had him jelly legged. His face after the SECOND round looked like he had been through a 15 rounder.

Bud has to stick with that power jab from this day forward. The fact that he said this was the first camp they really trained the jab is wild to me. Up to this point they didn't even need it. The speed and force behind it was beautiful to watch. Bud with that jab is unbeatable. And it just shows that a fighter is never too old to keep improving and getting better.
