Roman will be just fine, he showed what a lot of us have been asking of him in that match. .. he wrestled like a true big with a mean streak and looked like he was enjoying launching Finn across the ring.

If HHH survived his 1996 punishment because they tore his ass apart most of that year

Roman will survive now, this is Vince's "eat shyt and don't complain to show we can actually trust you" phase.


Folks whine constantly that they never try to put effort in creating new stars. They put a rocket pack on one who clearly has something they can build off. Last night was a very good at bat on the part of the WWE

Here's another thought to ponder though, a lot of fans are now gonna complain that Roman is going to squash talent in the midcard.

Lol, possibly that's the way it will go, wouldn't be suprised if they went left field though and had Finn win. Or at least something a big different and less predicable to try and signify a change has been made, they might just try have Finn look strong in the match though and have a gallant defeat.

Just caught up on the rest of the show, as I said not surprised Finn won.

I don't think I really have an issue with Finn winning, it does create a sorely needed fresh matchup at SummerSlam after months of Shield dikkriding.

BUT

I take issue with just how cleanly he beat Roman to do it. Punishment or not, Roman is still the guy who main evented two consecutive WrestleManias. As many wrestlers who fell to Roman on his path to both WrestleMania main events, you mean to tell me some generic looking CAW from NXT beat Roman with a stomp off the top rope... ROMAN WEARS A VEST FOR CHRIST SAKE!!! HOW DOES THAT TAKE HIM OUT ?!?! At least make it more realistic.
