he definitely worked me with the new day twitter feud.
the thing with him is
a. they are going to respect him more in japan than wwe will
b. those ddt shows with him and ibushi on top have been proven draws so he can draw in japan
c. he has the freedom to act like a goof (which doesnt really appeal to me) but also have long matches like that one where he shows his true capabilities

but in the end he is probably going to have a job for life with new japan if he sticks with them. he is the first gaijin to win the fukking G1 if i'm not mistaken. he speaks japanese well and could always settle in as a liaison to english speaking talent after.
dude clearly loves their culture, their crowd clearly loves him and we all know if he went to wwe he'd still be seen as a secondary dolph ziggler outside of NXT. i hope he tones down the fukkery in his matches and meets his real potential, but the guy is made for new japan.
