Hoss Battler Ishii gets a 3.75 out of shyt Makabe.

And we have a huge rift between Bullet Club opening up.

Tama refusing to Fingerpoke of Doom for Fale...Yujiro, Hangman, and Roa down for shenanigans...you know Fale won't win, but Tama winning was going to involve fukkery. Already lots of teases and an interesting result will emerge for sure.

They keep mentioning a draw a LOT.

And the match escalated quickly.

Rocky is a very solid commentator, great call to have him in the booth. Dropping lots of clever references and insight.

Sentiment over substance, except for the main event.

Tenzan loses his likely last G1 match to a breakout star in Sanada. Koji supported him through and through.

Ishii pulls Makabe into a good match because he was A Block's MVP, they give each other brain damage and internal bleeding despite having no chance to win G1.

Tama refuses to lay down for Fale, costs him the G1. Bullet Club helps defuse the situation.

Maru gets too showy against Goto, those fleeting moments give the perennial loser an opportunity to finally get a huge win...provided the longest 30 minute wait of Hirooki's life.

Okada and Tana battle a ninth time...the match starts out very intense and quick, callbacks to previous matches, and lots of reversals upon reversals...Tana gets the upper hand a lot, and could have even let Okada get counted out, but his pride and vanity provide plenty to regret...he is literally one second from a 3 count on Okada and winning A Block.

Tana is set further back than ever before, as he is way in the back of a line of guys who actually got the pin on Okada (Maru, Ishii, Fale), and of course the Climax winner...one he may have enabled in Goto.

makes sense for goto to win since the finals are already sold out. better than burning a match that people care about because they need to sell tickets. thank god they aren't trying to do a dome again because that would be more disastrous than it was a couple years ago. plus if the final is naito/goto it's perfect. the japanese audience doesn't really like goto either so it's the perfect place for naito to win clean and show more babyface tendencies if that's the final.

regardless, whoever wins the b block has to win the tourney to me. outside of the shibata swerve i don't see anything being a big enough draw at the tokyo dome other than naito/okada. there's no way they put goto in the dome final though. omega even has a better chance. goto is colder than gaijin joke wrestler omega. it just doesn't make sense for him to win in any scenario if they are focused on selling as many tickets as possible.

naito is trending toward a babyface now and okada is trending back toward a heel with the crowd. naito has the cool factor and okada has that shoved down the fans throats factor (ironically the factor naito had with the crowd the last time they tried to main event WK with a naito/okada match).

i think a win by okada with a full fledged turn back heel at WK or a clean babyface win by naito could solidify a double turn that the crowds are trending toward already. if it gets over in either scenario then gedo is a masterful booker. naito/okada couldn't even main event the show a couple years ago. now it's probably the only WK level main event i'd take over shibata/okada and it's not an original match.:wow:
