I'm not mad at a draw.
Castano fought a great fight and probably deserved the win, just. Thats the game though, he's not the A-team and it's not like Jermell wasn't scoring with that jab straight counter all night too.
The greater public, and even the hardcores for that matter, don't necessarily understand how fights are scored.
Charlo has a great guard and head weave, showed a lot of guts in rnd 4 to get out of that.
This coming from someone who thinks Charlo has been a straight clown at times in his career.

Castano had Charlo buzzed or rattled a few times, Charlo had Castano seriously hurt quite a few times as well. This fight was way more back and forth than people are giving it credit for. Castano had the volume and aggression, Charlo had the clean and effective punching, and defense because he did make some nice defensive moves, he spun Castano a few times and he wasn’t getting hit clean with a lot of those punches in Castano's flurries. It was a closer fight than people are giving it credit for. I will say this, if they would have given Castano the win I wouldn't have been upset though, I knew before the fight he could win this.
castanos flurries kinda sway the optics because you just see the volume but ignore what connects

. He would be 2-0 against dude if he didnt try and walk dude down for every minute of 12 rds.

I skipped that fight too & heard he looked terrible. it's a damn shame because he could actually fight. most of his issues were mental to me

He was close with his pops, I wouldn't be surprised if his heart isnt all with the crafr right now. His next outing will probably tell the story
