If Martin let his hands go more he probably drops Anderson. Things would have been more interesting
This might sound crazy to say about a dude with a 95% KO percentage.....but I don't think Anderson has the power to hang with the top guys
He's going get touched alot and needs the type of power thats going keep the bigger guys off him

I'm trying to see Anderson against Jonny Rice. Then I'll know if he's the real deal

Everything that I said Wilder couldn't do. :heh:

A 37 year old Charles Martin who took the fight on 2 weeks notice had dude doing the stanky leg and had him confused with basic movement.

You're crazy if you think Wilder doesn't decapitate dude in 3 rounds.

Anderson, and this is not a knock, cannot likely beat Joshua Parker or Ortiz.

There is no way in the world this is even remotely close as a fight.

Wilder, for all of his flaws, has ZERO to fear with Anderson.

If Jared Anderson is smart he should never face Ortiz

Ortiz did this to Martin. This is what true power looks like, on top of Ortiz being a southpaw with boxing skills. Jared doesn't have this level of power and it showed against Martin

Yep that's why I said Joshua Parker is probably his next 'name' opponent to get to. He's just not ready. Maybe never will be based on what I saw

You're right. It wouldn't be close. Wilder would get dominated.

Other than the right hand, what else does Wilder do that's great? And we've what happens when it doesn't land or has no effect on his opponent.

:mjlol:

You and I watched a different fight Saturday from Anderson.

There has been 1 opponent that has dominated Wilder and he did the best he could in 2 out of the 3 and dropped Fury multiple times. Anderson doesn't get up.

And I'm not even a Wilder fan like that. Who had Jared beat that gives you this much confidence?

At least Wilder beat Dominic and Ortiz, Arreola, Helenius.

It's not about who Anderson has beaten. I've just never thought highly of Wilder. :heh:

I like Anderson. I think he can be a champion. He took some serious punishment in the 5th from Martin, came back and made the proper adjustment to win the fight. I'm not a super fan or anything like that. But from a skill point of view, he's better than Wilder.

Not thinking highly and being realistic are two different things.

Jared is a walking KO for Wilder and suggesting otherwise is foolish
