No. My speculation. Makes the most sense, considering Liger has been supported in performing a farewell tour.

1 show is for sure for Liger, but I still don't agree with you at all with it being Junior based. That's just not a smart idea at all to run at the Dome.

Crowd was weirdly subdued for Mox/Shingo considering how hot they've all been for Mox in NJ so far.

Feel like I've seen that exact Ishii/Naito match 8 times.

Burn out feeling real from the crowd, wrestlers, and me.

Archer and Moxley are the stars of this tournament for me. Both dudes are out there with something to prove. Moxley having a hell of a run right now. I hope he continues it into AEW.

:mjlol: it took me 5 matches to realize Ambrose was doing his Shield entrance and not a Bruiser Brody tribute/rip off :russ:

just found out Archer was also in WWE developmental getting jobbed out to Seth Rollins, WWE wouldve had him in a trash tag team

Ospreay vs. Hiromu.

what about it? breh we are talking about the Tokyo Dome, not even a full decked New Japan show can sell it out and you want to book a show just for a division that hasn't drawn more than 7k in the last 15+ years? Even if it's an interpromotional effort, just juniors aren't drawing a good enough crowd. And by that I mean like half the building or something along those lines (17-20k).

Liger can have a huge show dedicated to him but if they want it to succeed they have to make it an "All Together" or "All Star Battle" type of event. Either that or divide a WK type card in two nights with a couple of special attraction (interpromotional) matches each night.

This Yano character looks like he the lovable loser of New Japan. They let him in the tourney cuz they needed someone to job out to the other wrestlers. I don't even know if he's won a tag match. He definitely don't fit in with the other guys in his block. One Japanese guy that be doing pushups on the beach in the intro video looks like he tough as hell and this other guy with the slick black hair look like he a Triad boss level bad ass. This Yano guy like the odd man out here. Imagine if it was Suzuki instead of him. Ass kick city :wow:

:russ: I had posted some links like a week or 2 ago showing his WWE days.

Yea Vince and had him too but thought he was trash and dumped him. I think it great when you see stories like him if cats that thrive outside the E

I wouldn't mind the latter tbh. A combo of Okada/Ospreay/Naito/Ibushi can be both main events...

Archer/Moxley underneath.

Yeah he said he didn't wanna do it at first and leave all his WWE stuff behind, but they wanted him to and he said it's too special to give up once he walked through the japanese masses it was such a vibe.
