The reason we're the most emulated people and why everyone at once envies and hates us, is because black people are the only race on the planet that has socially and culturally evolved. We had no choice but to progress with what we were given, lacking the economic power that racism forbid us from holding. Every other race has been subsumed within the system of white supremacy, accepted within their ranks under the condition that they abide by the rules, the most important of which being a hatred of black people. The comfort of white supremacy has made everyone but black people complacent, removing a drive to progress as a people beyond the technological advances their power afforded this society. While we've entered the digital age, white people haven't advanced on a spiritual and emotional level, but black people have. That is what separates us from everyone else, one of the reasons we are so despised while also inspiring so much jealousy. Because we have no real connection to the past, stripped of our it because of the enslavement our African ancestors suffered under, we have had to build our own society from scratch. The reason we basically drive popular culture is because we had no choice but to be the most creative and imaginative people on the planet. It was our only way to survive. White people created a monster in us, which is why they want us gone. As long as black people continue to persevere, we are an existential threat in the eyes of white people. And, they're right - we are.
