As a person who had a really nice house and now living the luxury apartment life in DC, I totally get it. The convenience. No unexpected expenses.. I love it. I do think Im going back to the suburbs at some point. The rent is high as fuhk..lol.

I had a really nice sized housed 4 beds 3 1/2 baths.. full basement. Huge yard.

I didnt even use all the space. Never used the basement. A few backyard gatherings. To me its just whatever..

Ain't really comparable considering everything in Dallas fun to do are outside of dwtn. Unless you a sports star I don't see the appeal of having an high end apt in Dallas. Now houses and townhomes on the other hand...

Bought my house at 380k 5 years ago, worth close to 600k now although it fell a bit with the cooling market. 51 yrs old. 20+ years in the workforce and at close to $1M in 401K. That ain’t including the wife’s retirement accounts. I’ll have my house paid off in like 10 years….no rush at 2% interest. You ain’t shyt to me, lil boy.
Best believe if I had $6200/mo to spend on a crib, it ain’t some fuk boy apartment.
