Most countries have gangs or organized crime. Problem is in our community there’s no code or organization for the most part.

I think if a Gang member kills a kid it should be automatic death for that gang member. Whether it was in a crossfire or whatever don’t matter.

I know it's been crazy everywhere around the country but it's been especially bad in Minneapolis and even worse in North Minneapolis with the cops. They are blatantly doing nothing to say "I bet you need us now" while still providing no service to the actual community. But it's been even worse since the George Floyd murder/protests and the people over North know they arent going to get any help from the cops or city/state government

The biggest threats to our community live in our communities and should be treated as such.

It is more disrespectful to act as though it didn't happen. You're upset reading about it? How do you think the family who lost a 6 year old feel?

These stories do fill me with a great amount of anger. The people involved need to be scrubbed from society. I would start looking to target those who cover for them too to send a message. Anyone housing them, providing them with food, doing business with them should be charged if they did so whilst knowing they were a wanted criminal.

That's the problem in the community. The criminal element is always pandered to and we have to imagine these guys are just some misguided, but really noble warriors who really want to protect the community. What foreign army have these guys repelled and what have they really protected other than turf they don't even own? Most of these gang members are excellent at killing other blacks and destroying black neighborhoods, but as soon as the cops show up, they hightail it or let themselves get taken captive.

nikkas in the hood kill without consequence on a fairly regular basis, as well. Because good apples in the hood protect the bad apples.

We need a cultural shift in the hood and it has to start with potential witnesses in the hood being protected enough to report crime they witness. The cops don't have to be the ones doing the protecting but someone has to do it.
