A little underwhelming honestly

Eh i see where you coming from but don't think the expectations were sky high. Was a decent show for the most part. Some good entertainment. What they gotta do is keep building up future stars instead of using old guys like Gallows and Anderson or Ethan Page. Both NA title matches were great.

Trick doesn't have the working skills yet to work a dry match with a fresh challenger who no one cares about already.
especially not one that is evenly matched with him physically.

We needed more of the Dar type challengers, but needed the matches to be much, much shorter. Trick's at the point where some 5 minute squashes against folk who run up just to get sat back down WOULD help him.
Going 15-20 minutes with someone who has never worked a match on NXT before... probably ain't it. Especially when it's not someone coming in a champion who is physically imposing like Jordynne. When their sizes are similar, it even takes away from the realization that those are actually a couple big dudes out there since they've never even had Page in a match on NXT with someone of 'average' size.

They 100% shoulda done the Oro/Page match before this just to establish the man or something.
Trick needs to learn how to work if he's gonna be a top guy
So the matches need to be long
He's not gonna learn a damn thing working squash matches (see Jade Cargill in AEW)
Noam Darr was a terrible choice for a challenger so I'm glad they bushed it. That guy looks like Trick could press him across the arena, not imposing at all.

PLE felt flat but with Heat Wave in just a few weeks, maybe it was intentional.....feels like a big mistake to not give Page or Grace a surprise win....

They gotta get him the experience and this is how he gets it.

Trick worked a solid match it’s just that Page is an average worker.

Someone else could easily lead Trick to a way better match (Dragon, Melo).

That's the challenge Dragon and Melo gone left a gigantic void
They may need to go back to the indy route for the men division because they are really weak in that department
For all the love the PC gets for getting these chicks ready it's been really rough men wise.
These dudes must just not be as fast learner as the women
Trick & Oba look like main guys but everyone else looks like midcard at best on Raw & Smackdown

Should of kept Dijak around tbh

Wouldnt shock me if Briggs is he’s next challenger.

Or someone from main comes down to face him.
I think that would be for the best, at least in the interim. You have someone come down from main and put him through the wringer for a bit. It would help him to polish it up and fill the void left from all the call ups.

Those are special wrestlers. Page is highly skilled but he has a lot of work to do as well. NXT can help him a ton
