Bron Breakker killing everything in sight even if he may lose. Melo having close ones with Andrade.... after Making Cody Rhodes look foolish in their first match.... it doesn't add up.
Enjoyed this card. Never saw an iron survivor match before so wasn’t familiar with how it worked. Pretty cool concept, probably the best new one I’ve seen.
World title match was the weakest of the night but wasnt expecting much due to Holland being in it

Melo is 30.
Comparison wise; The Rock left for Hollywood at 30.
Stone Cold left WCW for ECW at 30.
HHH was a WWF Champion, 2x Euro Champ, 2x IC Champ by the time he was 30.
shyt, at 30, Cody had his entire WWE run and was on the indy's after 2 IC Title runs and muliple Tag Title runs.
Melo is pretty far back in the pecking order and I don't see "star" off of his losses just because two of them was to Cody.
He's being booked like 2023-2024 Ricochet if we being honest.
shyt, Shawn Michaels won his first World title at 31.
HHH's gonna have to do something BIG for him in 2025 for me to think he's on the road to being a SUPERSTAR.
Melo showing up and just destroying everyone isn’t gonna be a good look just because he’s 30 lol. He’ll be fine. The booking won’t be like this when he’s 32. He’ll be a champ next year.
If he was losing to lames it’d be different. He’s going toe to toe with current world fukking champion and just coming up a little short. That’s more impressive storyline wise for a “rookie” than him beating up on Akira Tozawa and Tonga Loa.
I wanna be wrong, but, his booking since May ain't been all that.
All seriousness though, how would you have booked him?

I feel this type of booking is refreshing and realistic. A cocky “rookie” popping shyt and coming up short because the peoples he’s fighting are more experienced than him. I feel it’s a way to feature him heavily without it coming off crazy that he’s taking out the top dogs.
I also think that best of 7 series vs Andrade was sick lol

He's been booked like Ricochet.
I wouldn't have had him go on a "7 Game Series" against a cold as ice returning Andrande (great wrestler, but, lower mid card at this moment).
shyt, I would've had him do that with Montez (another up and coming mid card singles star that ppl react to).
But, either way, I would've put the damn US Title on him at that triple threat.
Not put the title on 44 year old Shinsuke Nakamura (I'm surprised he didn't retire).
Dude that talks big shyt and always coming up short isn't good booking and can make him look like a joke if he don't cash in...speaking of which...I would've put the Money In The Bank on him.

Jaida won the Hardcore match at the ECW arena show, it was pretty obvious Lola was winning this.
Now they are 1-1 in singles matches against each other. There will likely be a third match to end the feud is my guess.

Jaida still should've won. Lash Legend didn't get a chance to go 1-1 with Nikita Lyons and everyone (not necessarily you) was fine with that. Jaida had all thr momentum in the world and they are about to squander it

Who has cut a career defining promo and then loses the next match? They should've called an audible. Having her sitting outside the ring sad at the end was completely ridiculous aswell.
