19 years of proffessional fighting isnt enough for you? what more do you want?

It’s enough for me. I just don’t like that he’s making a mockery of that incredible legacy by taking all these freak fights.

He did it once breh. It’s Floyd’s third time pulling this stunt, and Ali made it interesting by doing mixed rules. Floyd is doing lopsided joke fights against beginners which he can’t lose.
Ali was also desperate for money at the time, so he took what he could. I don't think that's Floyd's situation.

Ali was doing matches like these against Football players when he was the champion and an active boxer

stop it man lmao Floyd and is retired, and this is entertainment

anybody who 25 years in the sport can't be questioned by any got damn body about legacy or integrity of the sport, its insulting

I think the reason these matches rub ppl the wrong way is the general consensus that Floyd can clearly still fight and compete with mid-top welters in the sport. He just wanted to retire with his 0 an avoid the top new young guns. And I get the resentment - Manny just beat Jesse Vargas, Broner and Thurman, all mid-top welters. Keith was an undefeated champ who beat Danny Garcia and Porter back to back. The Thurman win is an amazing feat.

Remember, Floyd’s last official fight was with a guy with a 0-0-0 record. That was a circus and in my opinion deserved the ridicule from the boxing community. THAT should have been an exhibition.

Also, I’m pretty sure Floyd is going to try and stop that YouTube kid much like the Japanese guy (although not sure he will be able to). But this too is bothersome - if you’re willing to try and knock out these guys who clearly don’t deserve to be in the ring with you, why don’t you try that with Porter or Thurman? Danny? He probably would beat those guys tbh. Maybe he loses - that’s okay too. Fans would respect him more for challenging himself like Manny (don’t bring up money or how manny still has to fight etc - Manny is on the road to a better legacy than Floyd at this pace). But no, Floyd rather take the safe route and try and knock out some YouTube guy instead, bringing all this ridicule onto himself.

In the end he doesn’t mind because it makes big money - but that has nothing to do with legacy. Manny is about to make just as much money but for getting in the ring with Errol Spence Jr :whoo:

And if he wins.....:pachaha:

mayweather is 43 year old and gave professional boxing 19 years of his life and retired. there's no reason for him to be actively fighting.

pacquaio continues to fight cause hes broke. nothing more or less. just say you want him to continue to fight until he loses.

you almost sound upset that this so called "dumb guy who can't read" didn't end up like most of the legendary fighters who fought longer den they should and embarrassed themselvew and fukked up their health.

If there’s no reason for him to be actively fighting, why was he chasing a rematch with McGregor? That was a real fight/rematch he was looking for. And why is he trying to knock out some YouTube kid in February? knocking out lightweight Japanese bums?

Just say you’re okay with him not actually fighting good competition but cool with him charging ppl to watch him knock out bums.

As to the notion of me wanting him to lose - I take it you care about his 0 as well. Stop thinking that way - nothing wrong with having a loss man.

lastly, yes, Manny is probably fighting for money as much as for legacy. Same reason Floyd is gonna try and knock out a YouTube kid - money.

You think Manny can’t fight in a big lucrative exhibition? Of course he can :mjlol:

But he’s gonna try to fight Spence and deserves lots of praise for it.

Anyways, enjoy Floyd vs YouTube kid:francis:
