Mall got hit too much against Adams who while tough and game was still brought in to make big Charlo look good. nikka didn't jab enough to set up them power shots to really break Adams down. He allowed the smaller man to retain his confidence the whole fight. You can't allow that when you're supposed to be at the top of the division and making a statement.
GGG an Andrade would have had much better performances against a guy like Adams.
I can understand Korobov putting hands on you and going the distance, but Adams. Nah fam. He's Beefy level if we being honest.
Hopefully Mall gets a bigger fight this year. Last night performance wasn't bad, but it wasn't fire either. Just decent imo.

Watching that fight i was thinking now is the time where Canelo might feel most confident in calling out Charlo. Not that I think Charlo is bad but if his power didn't move up with him I think Canelo has nothing to worry about

wouldnt put too much stock in to last night. Would give both of them an even chance probably against Nelo or GGG. Both of them are better than Jacobs. I dont see either of them getting a fight with them.

Andrade got the skill set to but he doesn’t actualize it. Charlo doesn’t have the skills or the power, basically a head hunter.
Why wouldn’t you put stock into two showcase fights? What fights would you put stock into? I can’t stand triple g but he woulda bulldozed thru Adams and Sulecki. When ya fights dudes not on your level you’re supposed to show out.

Andrade looked bored. This guy wasnt on his level. Adams is a lot better than I thought. He is athletic as hell obviously and I was surprised at his movement, particularly his head movement. He is a lil hard-headed sucker and I dont think he is a guy you pick to "look good" against.
Bottom line is, these guys would be at their absolute best because of the nature of the threat against the GGG/Canelo. so many people look bad in so-called showcase fights. while these guys didnt offer much threat, they dont appear to be guys you can just knock out easily. Adams said that. Adams started fighting late and has improved a lot since his last loss about 4 years ago.

If Andrade was bored he shouldve closed the show. Regardless of Adams being better than you expected, he isn't contender level at 160. Neither is Korobov or Culclay or any of the trash either dude has fought at 160. No reason to believe they'd be head and shoulder above what they displayed yesterday against much better fighters. In fact the exact opposite is what i think.
Make Triple G vs Charlo, then Andrade Canelo and the winners fight.
