It's not defense. It's legit puzzling. Just don't debate if you know he's this bad. This is gross malpractice at this point. THEY PUSHED FOR THE DEBATE. Trump didn't even want to do it initially. "We don't debate convicted felons" would have been more than enough for a large majority of your base.

honestly I was hoping for a debate/ glad they were pushing for one seeing Trump incoherently ramble at his rallies. I figured it was possible trump would say things so egregiously dumb, unpresidential and/or offensive on a live televised stage it was a reasonably good risk for Biden.

but boy was I wrong. Biden legit looked like he was dying up there. Trump was Trump. what a horrible showing for the dems. all of my progressive family & friends are extremely worried this morning

Biden was never my choice, I voted for Bernie in the 2020 primaries, but nobody can make him step down if he doesn't want to. Neither Biden or Trump should be president, but Trump will do more harm in the long term.

Right, but that's fine for YOU and ME to think that. I saw this debate happening and was like, ok they know something we don't, let's see how this goes. THEY'RE AROUND HIM EVERY fukkING DAY AND THOUGHT THIS WAS SMART. Minutes into the fukking debate and I had to look away. shyt was uncomfortable as hell to watch.

just brainstorming here.... never mind my rambling.... but maybe what biden should do is have surrogates debate on his behalf.... i mean, essentially, isn't that what gavin newsom did when he debated ron desantis...? gavin argued for the democratic position and pudding fingers argued for the republican position.... all across the country we could have democratic governors challenge republican governors to debates... the media would cover it and the dem govs would make a much more coherent argument for biden's presidency than biden ever could... just a thought from a very distraught citizen... carry on...

Agreed...people really overuse the term "dementia" and it's kind of insulting to people who actually have it. It's a specific disease that only a minority of older people have. If he actually had dementia it would easily be a 25th Amendment issue.

Biden doesn't have dementia at all, he's just quite old and much less sharp than he used to be. It's an issue, but it's not dementia.

they'd be essentially arguing for another democratic administration and would be able to highlight for the american people all the benefits of biden's presidency... clearly biden can't make that case himself... this could get millions of voters attention and may sway people who don't understand that biden is just one person, there is far more at stake than they realize...........
