We'll see how much pull Tony Khan has, and more importantly, how much Dragon has over Tony

New Japan will be stingy in regards to how gets a singles match and who is allowed to lose. Then TK has to polític his ass off to get legit big singles matches and try to get their important guys over. If he can't, then we getting multi man matches galore for the nth time.

I hope we see Dragon showing out against a big name. I'm just cautious about New Japan "King of Sportsing" it up.

At least Khan has is negotiating tool of sending AEW talent to the G1 so they can return a job or simply put a couple of NJ workers over during the tourney.

wish this was later in the year....a one month build up for a show like this leaves me skeptical

I feel like October would have been a better month for this right after the G1 tournament ends and the build towards Wrestle Kingdom begins... but I'm cool with June as well

2-3 singles matches with one or 2 being marquee will be fine.it may not even be NJ guys vs AEW guys every match.

Yeah, seems like a tester. I am almost confident they would save those kind of dream matches for a big ppv like All Out, or a WrestleKingdom though. Those are the type of matches that in theory should be headlining a big show, not a random PPV that is gonna have minimal build and promos for the matches.

Doesn't the G1 take like a month to do? Going to be tough for AEW to agree to put a guy in there who just came back and is part of their own tournament (Miro) and another who is on the shelf with a bad concussion (Danielson) when they already have several other notable names sidelined
