Great to see Okada getting so much love in the US but that was a botched finish

I think Cole should’ve taken the rainmaker and then Jay steals the pin

Don’t know why cole was so dominant with the kicks and all that


Main event was fun and Moxley deserves it but seems like we all wanted Tana to win

AEW has a terrible problem with sticking the landing in matches, shows, and storylines. This was the best AEW PPV I’ve ever seen, and it could’ve been perfect if the Thunder Rosa Match, The Fatal 4 IWGP Title match, and the brawl to end the show was booked differently.

Somewhere near the end, shyt just seems to go left. Also, the blood was extremely unnecessary for that match, especially for the move he bladed on. A sling blade? At least make it look believable lmao

Shibata was worth the PPV, they didn't stick the landing, and Tana deserved better...but damn, some folks showed the fukk out tonight.

As intriguing as it would be for Tanahashi to win, I don't blame AEW for putting it on Moxley given the rash of injuries before the event. Tana has the G1 coming up and given the injury bug going around, he probably would have gotten hurt during the G1.

Damn….. FTR sound so much different from what TSC says or thinks about them.

Ospreay vs OC was a banger

Seemed like a wasted match at first, but they delivered

Match of the night was OC vs Osepray by far to me...

Was reading that this was the only match planned for the original card that wasn't changed in some form.

Finally got to see Shibata The pop when those clean notes to Takeover hit

OC/Ospreay was the MOTN for me.

There was a fight in the crowd to the right of the hard cam during the first 10 minutes of Mox/Tanahashi that had the crowd distracted. Security breh cleared some cac and cuffed his ass

Confused about the All Out announcement. Khan said they're waiting until next week to announce it but I wonder if it's gonna be in the city or the burbs like they've had it.

It’s believed that Adam Cole suffered a concussion at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

Forbidden Door saw Jay White retain his IWGP World Heavyweight Title in a Fatal 4 Way over Cole, Kazuchika Okada, and “Hangman” Adam Page. The finish saw Okada go for The Rainmaker on Cole, who ducked the clothesline and collapsed to the floor. White, who was outside of the ring, came back in and hit The Bladerunner on Okada. White then rolled Cole over for the pin to retain. After the match, AEW medics checked on Cole as AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and Kyle O’Reilly came to the ring, stared down Page, then tended to Cole.

In an update, Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that the belief is that Cole suffered a concussion during the match.

More than likely the reason for that finish.
