6/25 Monday Night RAW: Heyman responds to Prince Paul, Y2J Returns, One Man Rock Band

John Cena came out to a pretty strong negative reaction, although of course he had plenty of cheers too. He did this lame, irritating Star Wars comedy routine. He said he had a historic announcement but Chris Jericho interrupted. Jericho received loud Y2J chants despite having been a pretty unredeemable heel for months. A lot of people just don’t want him as a heel.

Cena responded that most of their viewers are that age. It’s telling they’re going on that completely false premise.

They were fighting for the contract and Ziggler pulled it off. But they ruled that if you don’t have control of the contract after pulling it off, that doesn’t count as a win. So they fought over the contract on the floor. And then Sheamus just came out and said they shouldn’t bother to finish the match but instead they’d just have a triple threat title match on Smackdown. This was so dumb.

A.J. won a women’s battle royal. Vickie Guerrero came out and entered herself last. She stripped down to a bathing suit and looked good for a 44-year-old woman while the other women acted like they were disgusted and Jerry Lawler told jokes at her expense. All the women then basically dove out of the ring as quickly as humanly possible.

Despite Cena being caught in the hold, Show came into the ring and hit a leg drop on Cena for the DQ. It was a fittingly awful finish on a night of awful finishes. An angry Jericho left and Show choked Cena for a while to close the show.

I got drunk and high last night and passed out before Raw, woke up and thought I had a dream that seen Psycho Sid on there last night then I fell back asleep. I wake up only to find out that this really happened.

If they gave Brock 5 mil for 24 appearances then dammit give 300 cash to Duane Gill so he can go over Heath Slater on the 1,000th episode. I would go back and watch the rest of the show but I'm eating good off of Raw in 5 minutes these days

* Triple H appeared in front of the live crowd at Monday's RAW during a commercial break. After Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger, Triple H came out and hit Swagger with a Pedigree.

-I liked the first match on Raw but I don't know, I'm kinda sick of Kane/Bryan/Punk combinations.
-All former champs in the MITB? Was hoping Rhodes and Kidd would show up.
-Big Show and Cena still feuding.
-Clay's streak ended...

-Those bikinis, Maxine went strapless so of course she's out first.
-Jericho came back...
-Bryan/Punk at MITB. I know the match will be good but AJ helping Bryan is the only interesting thing about it to me.
-Santino doesn't really need that US title. Would be cool to see Sandow with it.

I know his history, but that doesn't change the fact that the GTS is the most botched finisher in the history of wrestling that I've ever witnessed. There is no proper way to sell this move or make it look good if it doesn't connect with the head or face. I understand the risk of giving a guy a concussion, but then don't do the move at all. It looks terrible every time and even worse when it's against a giant, ie: Kane. His elbow drop is also the WOAT. Just stick to the Vice as far as I'm concerned.

The AJ angle isn't done of course... this is good, cause it's one of the few things where we truly have no clue where this is going.

Is the RAW MITB just stopping at those four or is it also gonna consist of other former champs? If not, I can imagine that match is gonna suck.

Good to see Jericho back... but he's def. arrived at that point where the crowd doesn't really wanna boo him that much anymore. Looks like it's time to turn him face. Soon.

I dunno what Barr's talkin' about, Del Rio's just boring as shyt at this point. He def. needs something new to his character, but I'm not sure Vickie's gonna do it for him. Right now, he's just a dude who comes out in a car and smiles.
