Amazing from Andy, AJ has been very poor and slack, seemed like he massively underestimated Ruiz.

I dont think he underestimated him. I never been a big believer in AJ. too passive. Klit shouldve beaten him. he is a tremendous physical talent but Wilder and Fury are better.

what you guys need to realize tho is that the rematch is going to be just as tough a fight. like I said Ruiz dont look like a fighter but he has the skills

He wasn’t used to that kinda boxing at heavyweight. Just slow moving, slow handed, uncoordinated ass type nikkas

Ruiz was hella experienced with better skilled. AJ could’ve won after he put him down the first time but he shot his load trying to finish and got countered.

Skill wise, Ruiz was better. I knew that before the fight. The best way to beat a quick handed fighter is to go to the body and keep disciplined with your jab.


He let Ruiz walk to him all night. Ruiz is a fighter that likes to fight bigger guys and doesn’t want to lose the weight to go to cruiser weight. Probably the most dangerous type of fighter for big guys

AJ really disappointed me with his lack of heart here and his smarts... everyone who fights at this level obviously is a warrior but he could have hurt Ruiz again. He just couldn't get past the KD and I think it bruised his ego and made his hesitant that someone else other than Vlad could hit him. It was a terrible terrible performance from an elite HW.
