Andy Ruiz Jr getting treated like the away fighter, seems like a decent guy, hopefully he has a good showing.

Klitchkos changed the game for heavyweights in Europe and in general.

Wilder could go over there and be a star, I think this is wilder ceiling right now as far as being famous in the states.

Don't believe that BS. There were less than 250 tickets comped for Wilder-Breazeale. All you have to do is file a FOIL (Freedom of information Law) request with NY's Department of Taxation & Finance as they are the ones who you have to file the receipts for events.
Say is bs, but the numbers are indeed somewhat close though it’s pretty impressive since he’s never fought here before.

I heard it was BS too. I also heard they were selling tickets two for one as of a couple days ago.

Wilder vs Breazeale sold 6000 tickets max, attended was 13000. Absolutely abysmal numbers. AJ's press conference had more than Wilder sold tickets probably. Also MSG should be sold out, last Iheard a few days ago was 800 tickets left so very likely to be a sellout which is over 19000 tickets sold. Can't really compare Wilder and AJ commercially, Wilder isn't even on his level yet.

Not to mention the tickets for MSG the price is around 3 or 4 times higher on average apparently so the revenue will be significantly bigger at the MSG fight.

Where in the blue hell are you getting these numbers from? Hearn?

There's a little under 5000 tickets floating between StubHub (via their API) and Tickermaster (when I used a webscraper this morning). Tickets had been discounted between 20% and 45% since Monday.

There were 13000+ tickets sold (minus the less than 250 comped) for Wilder-Breazeale.

=====

That was nowhere near 6000 people at that weigh-in.
