So you're not a Christian? How is this not apostasy? 'You shall have no other gods before me' and all that. How do you derive consciousness from quantum theories, which are ultimately material in understanding? It sounds more like quantum physics philosophy, if there even is such a thing.

For context I was raised Catholic and am now an Atheist.

Out of all forms of mysticism, I choose Christian Mysticism. I chose it because I grew up with it, having studied some others at length.

And again: it's really ancestor worship moreso than anything written in the mythology.

I have been Baptised and to me that is the official ritual that makes you Christian. Southern Baptist to be exact.

Look up how experiments show that the expectation of the researcher influence the outcomes. The physics stuff is no religion, it's just an illustration of how the Universe is made of consciousness.

For us younger folks born in 80s,90s,00s I don't think the sheltering is as frequent and woman are pretty much very aware. You do get those outliers but it's usually very religious households

I believe in what I call G-d but it is not based on any mythology from the past.

Quantum Physics is probably more of an influence than any religion.

Simply put, the material universe is made of consciousness. The consciousness of the entire Universe itself.

Religion does have some decent takes on our relationship to G-d but largely it's oversimplified and at times misguided.

I am a Christian but because I grew up Christian. I'd consider myself a Christian Mystic. I utilize the words and symbols of Christianity to funnel my soul power. To manifest thoughts.

If anything, I worship the Black Church. Meaning the actual ancestors back through slavery who practiced Black Christianity.

Wow! You just articulated exactly how I feel about my relationship to Christianity. Because I grew up with it, it is the faith tradition I feel most comfortable using it when praying or manifesting. I am more than aware that there are other spiritual practices that are effective and real, but I feel uneasy with things of that nature. I can flex my spiritual strength with Christianity.

It's crazy, when I was a bored kid in the like 2008. I used to use this dude to troll on Facebook. I had no clue who he was or how I found his picture. But it was something about him that was so funny.

Pardon me- YES, cultural. I’m speaking specifically about life in the US. Black culture doesn’t promote marriage anymore, when decades back Black folks had a higher marriage rate than whites.

The "no sex till married" crowd usually gets married at 20 because they wanna smash ASAP. The concept of waiting makes sense if you get married young....but modern people get married closer to 30 than 19/20.

She doesn't appear to be struggling with her decision.....which tells me that sex is not a high priority for her.

I agree with everything you said, but the truth is women were linking up and marrying men even more back then than now, so I think it’s fair to say she missed some major dating cues.

And I get the whole religious thing, because that’s my family and I watched it play out with older cousins. But upon observing some of them, they didn’t make the effort to improve on some of the key things that a man looks for. Some of that is because family didn’t keep it 100, and some of that is because they probably didn’t think they needed to improve on those things.

We'll start with Universal consciousness. The simple fact that everything is formed in such a way that complexity increases is a clue that it's purposeful. There are only a handful of types of elementary particles that make up the 100+ elements.

And then DNA has 4 components but makes billions of different types creatures.

All seeming leading to a creature (us) that can itself create almost unlimited gizmos.

A conscious mind can manipulate the material of the cosmos which is at it's essence consciousness.

Words and rituals are empowered with the will of the billions of people past and present who use the words and practice the rituals.

Christianity isn't better or worse for this purpose than any other form of mysticism. But my connection to it makes it the most powerful tool for *me*
