Everywhere
Yes.

I'd rather watch a whole season of a good tv series nowadays than movie marathon and that didn't used to be the case.

honestly i've always been a tv person over a movie guy. Tv gives larger arcs and deeper character development than a 2 hour movie.

They see me trolling, they hating.....
After watching shows like The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad etc movies seem to be extremely short in length to me. Everything happens so fast (2 hours average) and then the movie is over and that's that. (Unless theres sequels)

Definitely! I've made the transition to being a "movie guy" to a "tv guy" and I'm glad it's not just me. TV shows are just so better made, easier to digest, higher quality these days.

Before it used to be "Only on HBO" now the HBO quality shows are spread around everywhere.

With my low attention span I catch myself watching 2-3 straight episodes of the Wire/The Shield, or whatever else I'm watching instead of all the 2-hour long movies that's on my DVR :manny:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
movies are movies, tv shows are tv shows. why try to compare the two. the problem with movies is studios/investors are trying to make money anyway they can and it seems like over the past few decades there hasn't been any originality in the game. Sequels, reboots, adaptations of books, or remakes make up just about all of todays movies.

They're just different. There is still a lot of terrible TV.

I actually enjoy The Walking Dead more than any zombie film i've ever seen

This includes Night of the living dead (Original and remake) and the Dawn of the dead remake.

And call me crazy but I think Sopranos = Goodfellas >>> Godfather triligy >>> Casino

I never felt a connection with a of the mobsters (with the exception of Henry Hill in Goodfellas, that movie is a fukkin classic...GOAT movie of all time IMO) in Mafia flicks the way I felt with Tony Soprano, no homo.

I didn't really get to know the rest of the guys in those films because they were so short.

The Wire season 3 & 4 >>>> Boyz N the Hood, Menace II society, Juice, Fresh, Higher Learning etc.

and Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles series was just as good as any of the Terminator flicks IMO, certainly better than The last 2 Terminator films ( T2 will always be the GOAT tho)

TV shytting on movies bruh

Its the opposite. They stopped putting out quality movies so all the talented filmmakers moved to TV. Barely any original movies get made. Only remakes and kid movies..
