To be fair to 50... is it even possible to maintain a level of selling over 10m records for a rapper? 
He was bound to drop. At best in this error he could expect to be sellin 1m if he was hot and the graph would still be lookin similar. His last joint went gold at least.

Not to mention he did get shot. So, that explains his high level of sales in the beginning and the fact he was bringing out a lot of heat.
He still sold a lot more than a lot of your favorite rappers that have been dropping albums as of late. that's a fact though. I'm not here to debate about it. But, he did talk a lot about his sales all the time, so its not surprising that karma bite him in the ass and his last album didn't sell as much compared to the others.
