Not saying this is true of Jay, but I often think the business sense of most of these already rich celebs are over stated.
1st, they get brand recognition/sales off of their status alone.
2nd, they get the chance to invest in companies before they blow up for pennies on the dollar and/or are giving stake in said company for being the spokesperson/face of the product.
3rd, when they actually choose what companies to invest in, its more than likely off the strength of someone with good business acumen pitching the idea to them.
4th, we rarely hear of their investment failures (in real time) unless they go broke-broke.
No diss to Jay, just my POV.
