He isn't going to help you unless there's something in it for him. Look at the people around him; outside of the music industry, how many millionaires has he made or supported?

Jay z was a drug dealer and used that money to start a record label and fashion business that became huge due to the popularity of his music.
What he gonna teach me? Not everyone is lucky enough to make it out that life. He made smart investments at the right time in the right decade. Things ate different now a young jay z would have to take a completely different route to success.

I see a lot of people overlooked the 10 minute part. $50K or 10 minutes with a famous rap artist? Jay-Z wouldn’t even choose himself over $50K.
His advice would be you dumb AF bro for not taking the money.
Jay-Z would probably act like you’re not even sitting there with him eating. I imagine he’d ignore me the entire time and if I say something he’d like look past my shoulder and say “yea yea” completely ignoring what I just said.

Not saying this is true of Jay, but I often think the business sense of most of these already rich celebs are over stated.
1st, they get brand recognition/sales off of their status alone.
2nd, they get the chance to invest in companies before they blow up for pennies on the dollar and/or are giving stake in said company for being the spokesperson/face of the product.
3rd, when they actually choose what companies to invest in, its more than likely off the strength of someone with good business acumen pitching the idea to them.
4th, we rarely hear of their investment failures (in real time) unless they go broke-broke.
