Jada more monthly listeners than Flabset :umad::salute:

Thats Dipset with the Verzuz boost :mjlol:

Before Carl Cherry got a job as a Spotify Playlist curator and started adding them to more playlists they were doing 150,000 monthly listeners & settled at about 300k a month after playlist adds.

No one ended 50 but himself. Kept using the same tired single and album formula while the industry was moving towards a different sound. Your average rap listener never even heard 300 bars.

All this is true except that last sentence. The average rap listener TODAY hasn’t heard 300 Bars.

the narrative is some of these guys made people stop listening to 50 with diss records when thats an internet myth

It’s not an internet myth. Core fans gradually stopped listening. Pop fans are the ones that kept listening to him (singles wise)

I always figured this is why he posts clips of his music on IG pretty much everyday as a backdrop to promote his brands and what he's doing...it's a way to promote his catalog as well and run them streams up. I'm sure a lot of the people who follow him on social media never even heard a lot of them songs he posts before and go run to Youtube or wherever to hear them in full.

Anyone with a catalog should do likewise

It’s because 50 is basically a pop star. Those other guys don’t have that much popularity or hit records cause they never cared to make those records. Higher streaming Numbers also don’t mean much unless you think that equals good music when it doesn’t.
Ja Rule was pop as well.
