This.....................Manny better hurry up and sign his next fight like he usually does. The games won't fly if he chooses a opponent when Floyd's out, yapping his mouth. Fans showed their disgust with Manny's match making with the shytty Bradley numbers

Good Question!!!!.....

Because this is what has always made Mayweather unique was his ability to remain independent of the Bob Arums and Don King's

but i also want to know where does this leave Leonard Ellerbee who actually runs Mayweather Promotions bringing the deals to the table for Mayweather..

and what about Mayweather Promotions Consultant Al Haymon who was the "guru" behind the whole Mayweather Promotions movement...

i don't know how this pans out....50 Cent isn't the first hip hop personality to get involved with Boxing Promotion...

JPrince and Dame Dash both made thier mark as well...with JPrince gaining moderate success, while Dash pretty much Flopped :dead:

Mayweather is with golden boy promotions isn't he.

Sheeiiit, starting off with Dirrell & Gamboa is a great look for them.

Hope it works out, and hope they're more than fair to the fighters.

Money Team = BOSS STATUS POWER MOVE

Floyd is now considered a felon in the state of Nevada, based on doing 90+ days in jail, not for severity of convictions(domestic violence, which is a sensitive subject for boxing, since Gatti got RIPd by his wife)

Rather than Floyd be forced to make fights in a foreign country, 50 has a clean record, media reputation, emerging tech industry reputation (sponsors) and good credit, he can co-sign promote fights on Floyd behalf.

There is now more money on the east coast in this current recession, and making a big fight in NYC, vs Vegas, taps into money that Floyd hasn't really exploited yet in the peak of his career.

Floyd fought Gatti (RIP) in Atlantic City and Judah in Vegas, now with 50 good assistance he might be able to fight in Brooklyn or Yankee stadium for a tuneup for Pacman.

The casinos on east coast would love to make a big card with Floyd headlining. The punk politicians and activists will now consider Floyd a wife beater, and 50 might help ease that tension.

J Prince was doing this at one time wasnt ?

nah, I think he was just managing fighters...I think a promoter is somewhat like a club promoter...they book the venue, security, performers, ect. (as mentioned in this thread)

I think J Prince was simply representing a fighter when cutting deals.

yeah....i'm pretty sure Mayweather would like that

but will things run smoothly??

it might not be such a beautiful "merger"

i would hate to see such a good friendship lost the moment they do actual business together.....

i've seen how this movie ends way too many times...:snoop:

"the money grew and we soon grew blackhearted"

so so so true :whoo:

That's the biggest thing to come out of this for me.

He got the future on lock right there.

This can only be good for Boxing.
