and what about Mayweather Promotions Consultant Al Haymon who was the "guru" behind the whole Mayweather Promotions movement...

i don't know how this pans out....50 Cent isn't the first hip hop personality to get involved with Boxing Promotion...

true, but it how does someone defines significant? IMO mayweather and 50's personalities in combination with the financial resources they have make it highly unlikely for them to have no impact on boxing. to me the question is more whether that impact will be positive or negative in the long term
