basically Nas summed up 50 and a lot of artists like 50 in his latest Complex interview. and dont go saying he was talking about 50 becuz its just a general statement. But 50 falls into what he's talking about........

as far as ny music is concerned,i feel like banks was 1 of da last few mc's 2 not trade in his "sound" and try 2 sound like an outta state ninja, alwayz respected banks 4 dat. than u bring in his consistency with his last 5 mixtapes and u can see dat banks catalogue as of recent is 2 cold 2 ignore.stillnotsoft i still cant see how u think fab is fukkin wit banks,not dat fab cant spit,but if u compared all da their most recent bodies of work,banks tapdances all on fab shyt, and this is comin from some1 who fukks wit da soul tape and there is no competition,his otha tapes aint worth mentioning 2 me.......
see, this is what messed his thinking up, he started believing this type of talk and went overboard trying to stay "hard". 50 never turned pop, since i first heard him on record he was harmonizing and having fun with it, thats the appeal, he was talkin some crazy sh!t but it sounded fun and funny and hot. now he tries wayyyy too hard to sound hard, his voice and everything, the haters f*cked him up. he needs more joints like "all his love" and "aint gonna lie" and less joints like "murder one" and "stop cryin", just cause you sound like a killer dont make it hot b. THIS is the 50 we miss

The thing is, Banks has developed his own fan base - outside of 50 and G-unit. If 50 wanted to, he could make another G-unit album, but he shouldn't include Kid Kid on it, just banks, yayo, and go from there. They hustled their way to the top before, they can do it again. Any hustler knows this, if you hit rock bottom, you have to work back up. It just takes time.
