KANAN AND TOMMY ARE ICONIC CHARACTERS...

TARIQ IS THE SON OF AN ICONIC CHARACTER.

EFFIE IS ABSOLUTELY shyt.
NO ONE GIVES AF ABOUT HER.

BROAD AINT GETTING NO DAMN SHOW.

What CAC Mamba said and what you said are two different things. Rainey, Sikora & Curtis are not good actors, They ain't carrying shiit.
All three of them have carried their respective shows. Effie ain’t got the juice like that to do so.
No the fucck they ain't. They could write Kanan out of "Raising Kanan" and no one would care. "Force" is dependant on Tommy because of recognition, other than that. "Ghost" could thrive without Tariq too.

I ASSUME HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTER
NOT THE ACTUAL ACTRESS.

“Power Book II: Ghost” will end with Season 4 at Starz, Variety has learned.

The series, which was the first spinoff of the premium cabler’s hit crime drama “Power,” was renewed for its fourth season in January 2023. Season 4 will air in two parts, with part one debuting on June 7, while part two will launch on Sept. 6. June 7 is the tenth anniversary of “Power’s” premiere on Starz.

“This explosive season of ‘Ghost’ is a fitting crescendo in a decade of an immensely popular franchise – fans will not be disappointed,” said Kathryn Busby, president of programming for Starz. “While this marks the conclusion of one chapter, our commitment to the ‘Power’ universe endures with more compelling storytelling on the horizon.”

News of “Ghost” ending comes just after Starz announced it was developing the prequel series “Origins,” which will explore the early days of Ghost and Tommy from the original series. Meanwhile, fellow spinoffs “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” and “Power Book IV: Force” are currently filming their fourth and third seasons, respectively.

“Ghost” stars Michael Rainey Jr., Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Larenz Tate, Caroline Chikezie, Lightskinkeisha, and Michael Ealy.

Brett Mahoney serves as showrunner and executive producer. “Power” creator Courtney A. Kemp also executive produces via End of Episode along with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television and Mark Canton through Canton Entertainment. Lionsgate Television produces.

215 Uptown!
So is it still 2 full seasons?

Meaning season 4 part 1 is from june 7th to sept and thats a full 10 episodes

And then we get season 4 part 2 in sept for another 10 episodes?

Or are they splitting the final season into 5 episode blocks? (which isn't enough to run from June to sept)

The reason they keep doing Power spinoffs is because the costs of producing a TV show rise in the 3rd and 4th season.

So Starz's answer to this is to give you 3/4 seasons of one show, spin it off into another show that's giving you the same vibe, but it only costs them close to half the money to produce
Why so?

Probably do like that who killed Ghost shiit. 8 and then 4. Probably who killed Monet. Doubt Tariq gets killed and no other character really warrants a who done it,

OG was 10 and 5

Because S3/S4 of most shows is when all of the regular cast (the names in the opening credits) as well as many people BTS (showrunner, writer's room, producers) get contractually mandated pay increases or renegotiations.

That all happens at the same time, so the cost of producing the show itself doesn't go up, but the cost of paying everybody involved can double, maybe even triple all at once.

HOW MANY TIMES HAS IT BEEN STATED
THEY WILL NOT BE IN RAISING KANAN?

THATS THE WHOLE REASON 50
IS GIVING THEM THEIR OWN SHOW.

:scust: That's cute

Do a Ghost & Tommy series for 3-4 seasons of them getting into fukkery with no Kanan. Hell don't even put Angela in it either.

After that, do another spin-off called Kanan meets Ghost & Tommy with another different set of actors they can pay peanuts

With what the Starz ceo has said about how new Power shows are going to be produced they will definitely be in season 4 of Raising Kanan.
