im not comparing grinds. musically people talking lazy shyt, im proving my point which i did. tony yayo was like the first rapper in g-unit to shoot a video for basically all the tracks on his mixtape
but like i said people dont know these things b/c 50 cent killed g-unit. nobody bump anybody from that label which is why non-fans cant name atleast 3 people 50 signed since 2011, which he has. he actually signed more. banks rode who wave? i can tell who wasnt listening to g-unit in 02 when 50 was local in queens only. when banks dropped hfm2, what wave did he ride? his hit records that he wrote with no features from g-unit? ok. 50 said himself how banks became sorta separate. nobody rode anybody wave. 50 was the leader, he was already in the industry like 5 years prior. he is the oldest. g-unit mixtapes, 50 cent solo, mixtapes in between to stay hot, g-unit the album, then everybody solo project. it was that cycle from 03-08 until the label got dropped. the label got dropped cause tos flopped and so did everybody 2nd album. bisd flopped and thats why its been 5 years since 50 had an album out cause interscope wasnt putting that shyt out. lets skip excuses and talk real shyt

First and foremost, he was the boss; I.e. he had the responsibility, he took the biggest L's so naturally he should've got the largest piece of the cake.
50s momentum was so powerful that even worthless rappers like Tony Yayo could do a quarter million first week.
Lloyd Banks, a completely uncharismatic straight spitter was doing Jay-z numbers, which is unheard of. He took people who were starving on CMB and made them platinum stars overnight. As soon as his momentum died of, the other rappers just disappeared completely.. Banks could still recoup a bit cause he's a straight spitter and extremely good at that. But commercially they vanished when 50 wasn't The Beatles of music (i.e. having 3 songs in the top 5 of the nation).
No rapper has ever had the same power 50 had in the game, anyone fukking with him became a star. The way he grinded for those cats on an individual level is crazy.
How was it unheard of. Banks was mixtape king of 04. His mixtapes and his raps on 50 cent is the future, no mercy no fear(he spit one of the best mixtapes tracks of all-time on Victory, God's plan, he out-rapped Eminem and 50 on Dont push me) setup his buzz. People asking for a reunion cause each individual artist had talent and brought something, it wasnt just 50. If it was just 50, well make another g-unit. in fact 50 music fell off after he stopped working with sha money. everybody has somebody with them or behind them, aint nobody solo in this biz my g. To have success and say its because you have the best and right team in place when you winning, but when you not winning you want to say maybe i put a bad team around me is lame. keep it real with ya team when the money is flowing and keep it real when its not

He says he wanted them to brand themselves, but they couldn't wotk with anyone he didn't approve of. Guarantees he tells them all their shyt is wack, meanwhile he keeps making the same repetitive trash like it's fresh and new. Dude has released like 15 trash singles in 2 years.
He calls an emergency meeting and is upset because nikkas didn't think to put on some corny G-Unit sneakers? GTFOH!! Does Nike have a fit everytime Kobe, LeBron, Jordan are wearing some dress shoes? No. fukking Jay-Z had a stake in Roc-A-Wear and he was talking about Evisu. G-Units were casual shoes, he couldn't get anyone to endorse them, but his artist. And thats called good marketing getting a marketing budget and not really "spending it". More people are gonna see the video and hear the song than actually see any g-Unit artist and want to know what shoe they wearing.
