I disagree, however I have never seen anything like how drakes fan became delusional during the meek mill beef. Drake clearly lost the beef, but for some reason drakes stans convinced the world he did. How can you possibly say someone who was pissed on, punched in the face, and exposed with proof for having ghost writers won the beef? The only thing that happened to meek was corny meme's people made on twitter and corny jokes about "is it your girls tour" like meek isnt getting paid to perform on said tour smh

I rather listen to a new age Public Enemy with all the racism and police violence going on, but some of these older dudes hated them so much, that they trying to erase them from the history books

explain how drake won the beef? Drakes will NEVER be consider an all time great rapper like he wants to be now. He basically a notch above people like puff daddy now, but will never be mentioned with people like jay z, nas, hell even lil wayne.

Again how did drake win a beef? Because of people on twitter make memes about meek mill? Drake was exposed for getting pissed on, having ghostwriters, and diddy sent him to the hospital. PUFF DADDY sent drake to the hospital. And meek has the girl that Drake used to sing about in every other song. How could Drake possibly of won this beef?

That shyt is the reason you have all these suburban soft ass rappers today. That is the reason that you have the Drakes, Tyga, Kid Cudi etc. Had 50 won that sales battle on Sept.11 2007 the streets would be more represented in hiphop today. The record labels threw their money behind the suburban shyt once Kanye sold more records than Curtis. That shyt drastically changed the climate in hiphop. I think people bought the graduation album just to see 50 retire like he said he would if he lost the bet.

Graduation was dope, but was also a very overrated album by Kanye's standards.

50 was going to fall regardless. He turned into a one dimensional artist who got juice off all the surrounding aspects of music besides the actual music..such as beefs...making fun of rapper's sales...etc

He became a cornball basically....people wanted to see him fall off because he was an a$$hole..not because he beat the odds...

And musically he began to decline... I always thought pre Get Rich 50 was the best 50... But when he signed to Aftermath his flow changed and it wasn't as good as it was one Power Of The Dollar..

Get rich or die tryin is the most overrated album ever..musically. I still respect the album and even own the unopened vinyl...because 50's backstory is one for the books.. But

If jadakiss made those some songs it wouldn't have sold as much. Period.

It's not about the music it's about who's music it is..always the way it has been

It got worse with Massacre, which was a terrible album that only old as much as it did because of Interscope's packaging and promotion and gimmick

Kanye is one of the greatest things to happen to rap, and one of the worst also..

Greatest because he showed black kids that you can be yourself and still be loved and respected. No need to act like a gangster hungry for acceptance

Worst because he opened the doors for a lot of these hipster new black culture swag faq ass bytch nikkas who will sell their grandmother's 24K gold watch for a Supreme hat...nikkas who's heroes are european try hards who have done nothing for the black community...Travis Scott and Ian Connor are among the fakkits Kanye opened the door for...fakkits who have no identity or culture...Kind of black folks Complex Mag loves

Eager for this generation of soft ass hipster nikkas to end. But I don't necessarily want uncut street nikkas to be the majority again. People love to glorify when real nikkas were dominant in hip hop but forget about the cost

The women who lost her hearing that night when the Shyne/Diddy shooting happened...her and many others are innocent victims of the same ghetto ignorance nikkas over glorify

Should be medium ground. Kind of like Jay-Z

GRODT & The Massacre are dope albums.

Fukk outa here with this bullsh1t. :camby:

I thought I was the only one who felt that Get Rich or Die Trying was overrated as hell. 50 Cent dumbed down his lyrics pitifully when he signed to Aftermath. Power of the Dollar, Guess Who's Back? street album, and all the G-Unit mixtapes from the very early 2000s (50 Cent is the Future, God's Plan, No Mery No Fear, Automatic Gunfire for example) were all much better than Get Rich or Die trying.

It was time for a change in the hip hop climate anyway. If it wasn't Kanye they would've found someone else. They always know who to cherry pick to suit their agenda. The problem isn't 50 or Kanye or Drake or Tyga. The problem is and has always been that we allow others to dictate the direction and vibe of the culture. They plan this shyt years in advance and we are shortsighted. We're talking about problems from a higher level. Blaming the artists and the fans who don't control the perspective solves nothing. It's just the childish game of throwing the blame around like a hot potatoe

curtis was just another 50 cent album at the time. nothing new or groundbreaking, just more of the same. when that album was over you weren't re-thinking your stance on 50. if anything he was just becoming more stale.

regardless of what you thought about graduation quality-wise, it was new and it was interesting. uncharted territory for hip-hop. we hadn't really heard an album like that before.

when that day was over you knew which album was going to have the bigger impact.

Hip Hop got worse than back then...

On the bright side, we have Drill Rap running the streets and not beta azz Kanye and his clones.

Whats even worst is that Kanye used the backpack/every man rappers.
