The Breakfast Club will go down as one of the GOAT shows when we look back years from now. All of their interviews are entertaning one way or another...Even when they bring up no name reality stars to the station I always leave with a couple gems.

50 has a brilliant mind...Every rapper always says "I'm playing Chess and you playing checkers" but when u look at fif you cant help but to :ohhh: at how he always positions himself in life.

I dont like what he did to NYC artists but fukk it...I :salute: this brother

You're right when you mention that labels wont invest in a potential liability but 50 still makes a valid point in the racial double standard when it comes to crime.

No we glorify crime but I respect a nikka that can maneuver in an environment where there are no rules and it is literally kill or be killed and these street nikkas survive and make millions in the process. You gotta respect the strategy and tact.

Frank Mathews, Rayful Edmond, ect. How do you make millions a day without some jealous nikka (in the game or out the game) shooting you? But people call them thugs and not organized crime. The Mob sold drugs and bootlegged, extorted...whats the difference? Why is the Mob organized crime and black mobsters simply thugs.

Honestly the big name top level guys get looked at just the same. The Rick Ross', the Frank Lucas', The Big Meechs those guys are looked at much different than the random thug on the street. Even the feds identify them as a criminal organization and not just a 'street gang' those guys are on the same level as the mobsters are.

The difference is that the organization isnt there in a lot of street gangs that there is in the mob. The Mob runs like a business. A gang doesn't. 50 Cent acts more like a hand to hand crack dealer than he does John Gotti.

Not saying there isnt double standards but I think we all can agree that a wop in a suit looks less grimey than a guy who isn't in a suit.

He might have overthink things too much and have thought himself right out the game though....his whole career his moves and thought proccess has basically reminded me of Pac at the end....far as overthinking sum of his beefs, having a higher expectation of loyalty not many can live up too....don't know if that comes with the paranoia of people trying to kill u,id have to assume it does, and maybe reading to much Sun Tzu:russ:

But pac didn't always have that thought process like 50 does for his entire career.....makes me wonder what 50 would've been like had he never got shot,if he'd be sumbody who didn't overthink himself into sum of these beefs, and if he'd be more friendly in this industry with his peers....or wuz he sumbody that would've kept it all in his camp and kept his circle tight regardless of that?

If 50 spitting truths why do you nikkas call it a diss or hate? If it were lies then cool you can call it hating.

:snoop: yall making me sound like a 50 cheer leader cause I keep coming to his defense...

But he was asked by Charlamane if isolating himself was hurtful to his career.

He explained that his isolation came from his beef with New York rappers and him not working with NY rappers. At the time he was beefing with Ja Rule who is affiliated with Supreme. Supreme got 50 shot 9 times and Murda Inc was tryna blackball him by saying "he is really a street nikka and the violence is real". The labels looked at him like a thug or an animal.

Because of that, no NY label was willing to sign him...and 50 IS FROM NY but had to go to Detroit/L.A. to get a deal.

So 50 explained how black on black crime is looked at differently than Italian Mob crime. If NY label execs look at 50 like an animal, how are they looking at the other criminals in the Mob.

50 cent will perform the same acts as an Italian american but when looked at from the outside, the Italian american is considered intelligent and 50 is considered an animal. He was pointing out the double standard.

He went on a little bit of a tangent but I think he has a lot he wants to say so it might get a little convoluted.

right... and after all that he still didn't even answer the question. :aicmon:
