I was working on my degree from The Ohio State University

In college, taking an mild interest in the Presidential election coverage for the first time since 1996.

Listening to fellow collegians celebrate Obama's win by riding around in the parking lot of my dorm blaring "My President is Black" by Jeezy.

Working in a yacht repair yard on a few big jobs, megyacht refits, taking two classes at night, and dealing with the fallout of the September 2008 crash, because work pretty much ended in mid November, and we didn't go back for months. And that industry never really recovered. Interested in the election too, played 'My President Is Black' on the night too....Seeing a lot of movies, 'Quantum Of Solace', '4 Christmases', 'Australia', not working for weeks at a time was cool at at first, after some fairly intensive overtime and hours for the previous 6 months....Playing 'Paper Trail', 'LAX', and 'The Recession'...

Same here. Then I extended it, more than once to the point where I regret it now.

Bud, I regret it everyday of my life but not really. I just didn't want to force myself to go when I wasn't ready. I ended up enrolling in 2010 then left after first year because I ended up getting a job in the field.

It wasn't five years ago, but it was mine too....matter of fact, that was my best year of grade school PERIOD....

i was feelin myself big time
still riding the wave from my first promotion at work i.e. more money
travelling 2 weeks out of the month to client sites
finishing up buying stuff for my apt that i moved in a couple months ago
females knowing i was single and in the middle of cuffin season came out the woodwork to get at me including one of my exes
got myself back into shape
