Above the fray.
@Get These Nets it don't stop here brotha.

We also need to have regular black folks young and old to financially support Howard athletic program. So that means buying tickets to the games, beating on ESPN and CBS to broadcast the games. Donating money to the program aka boosters, buying Howard merchandise and jerseys.

We can't put it all on the players. Its takes all of us to do our part so it won't just be maker but other kats too.

Also lets be real Maker is the cousin of Thon maker so his family might not need financial help like other players. So it may have been easier to make this decision. But most players families need help. Gonna be hard for a player and his family to turn down a 100k advisement funnelled their way from a big time PWI school than say a small HBCU that can't offer the same. So in the end Howard and other HBCUs need money and financial support for their athletic programs and thats where us regular black folks come in.

I also have argued that HBCUs would be better to just target the kids of these current and former NBA players. Cause from a financial standpoint they are set. And aren't in need of the money. Like Wade, Lebron and Hakeem sons I would be targetting them and saying hey with this climate and your social activism this would be perfect for your sons to come here.

Prime has the inside scoop and advantage on the sons of other pro athletes too.

If JSU starts sending players to the pros, the SEC is gonna have recruiting problems.
